Three More Interconnect Contracts for Cerillion

London, 5th December 2001 – Convergent CRM, Billing and Carrier Management specialist, Cerillion Technologies, has announced a further three new contracts for IBAS, the Interconnect Billing and Carrier Management System.

The contracts are for implementation of IBAS at Maltacom, TeleGreenland and IMS Telecom in Leeds.   All of the three telecommunications companies involved are also in the process of implementing the Cerillion CRM and Event Based Billing System to support their retail businesses.

Robin Burton, Head of Marketing at Cerillion Technologies, said: “We are delighted that so many of our existing customers for retail billing are also opting to implement our Interconnect billing system.   IBAS is very much the product for today’s market conditions.    Operators need to focus on improving profitability and IBAS is just the system to help them to do that.”

Cerillion Technologies claims that IBAS has a unique architecture that makes it possible to compare the offers of many possible Interconnect partners on a continual basis.    This, claims the company, can help operators to improve the bottom line by as much as 10% of turnover.

Said Guy O’Connor: “Our IBAS system has been specifically designed for Interconnect business.    It uses a unique aggregation technique that delivers a performance advantage of anything between 5 times and 50 times over systems that have been developed from retail billing systems.   This combined with a number of other innovations makes it possible to compare potential partners offers using real data on existing and forecast usage.”
