Cerillion Opens Mediterranean Region Support Office
London, 14th January 2003 – Convergent CRM and Event Based Billing specialist, Cerillion Technologies, has announced the opening of a new sales and support office for the Mediterranean region.
Cerillion’s new office is based in the prestigious Portomaso Tower in St Julian’s, Malta. This provides support for Cerillion’s existing customers in the region including Maltacom, the national PTT. It also provides a regional base for sales activities in Southern Europe and North Africa. The new office is staffed with Maltese nationals.
Said Cerillion Technologies’ CEO, Mr Louis Hall: “Rather than try to import staff from other regions, it is our policy to use people who already live in the area and then to train them to work with our product range. Their understanding of the business culture enables a much closer relationship with the customer than would otherwise be possible.”
Said Robin Burton, Head of Marketing: “Malta is an excellent choice for our base. Not only are the overhead costs reasonable but we also have a very pleasant working environment. Nationals are also very used to dealing with different cultures. English, Italian and Arabic are all widely spoken. At the same time Malta has direct and short flight times to most of the key centres in Southern Europe. We also, of course, have excellent customers here in Malta to act as a showcase for potential new customers.”
