IBM Names Cerillion ISV of the Year for UK and Ireland

London, 25th June 2014 – IBM has named Cerillion Technologies as its 2014 Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the Year for UK and Ireland. The award was given in recognition of Cerillion’s innovation in the field of cloud billing with the launch of Cerillion Skyline, as well as its continued growth and success in the Telecoms Business Support Systems (BSS) market.

Cerillion prides itself on delivering enterprise-class solutions. Those solutions are built from the ground-up for reliability and robustness and are required to operate in environments that demand high resilience while needing to manage high transaction volumes. To achieve this, it makes use of IBM’s in-memory database technology, SolidDB, as well as the Power platform for its BSS solutions and Softlayer for its Billing-as-a-Service offering, Cerillion Skyline.

Cerillion Skyline is also one of the first applications to be made available through the IBM Cloud marketplace and the first from a European vendor.

“As an established IBM Business Partner, Cerillion has aligned its offerings with IBM’s hardware and database technologies resulting in a very successful partnership,” says Jenny Tydeman, UKI Ecosystem Development Leader, IBM. “The combination of Cerillion Skyline and the IBM SoftLayer platform is revolutionising subscription management by delivering enterprise charging and billing in the public cloud.”

“We are delighted to have received this prestigious award from IBM,” added Louis Hall, CEO, Cerillion Technologies. “It’s testament not only to the strength of our ongoing business relationship, but also to the enhanced value we deliver to our customers with our enterprise cloud and on-premise revenue management solutions.”
